I am so disturbed by the continued shootings in the United States.
I can’t believe that our lawmakers seem afraid to talk about restricting the availability of guns to the general populace. What citizen is in need of a rapid-fire gun in their life? I just cannot believe a 19-year-old boy was able to buy a rapid fire gun legally.
Teenagers and young adults have extremely stressful lives, surging hormones and sometimes an inability to understand the consequences of their actions.

Tonight, on the news, an Arizona lawmaker was asked if gun control will be discussed among the legislators and he said “No, we will discuss keeping our schools safe.”
I am so disappointed in our lawmakers. Something must be done. The common denominator in all of our tragedies is the misuse of firearms. I believe that first and foremost the availability of guns must be addressed.
