Fountain Hills’ Sunshine Girls, along with the owners of Sapori d’Italia, Maria and Gasper, are hosting a “Pizza Fun Day” with games and prizes at the restaurant for approximately 60 children.
Sunshine Acres houses and cares for over 100 children of all ages who cannot live at home for a variety of reasons, and operates solely on donations.
The event is next Monday, July 23, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interested parties are invited to drop by the restaurant with any donations of adult or children’s clothing, school items, backpacks, toys, sporting equipment and the like. The home has an on-site thrift store to raise money for the children. Furniture cannot be accepted during this event.
