Don’t elect those who fan the polarizing flames in Fountain Hill

OPINION — For Pete's sake! Our town, as well as our country, is suffering from division, polarization and animosity. If I were a candidate for office in this town, my number-one priority would be to not fan the flames.

Yet, our community received the first of many (I'm sure) extremely negative campaign propaganda mailings that used an AI image, stated half-truths and falsehoods to denigrate his opponent. A "B.S.Meter?" How juvenile.

Another red flag went up when Mr. Larrabee thought it appropriate to slip in an attack on another town council candidate during the candidate forum, showing his true colors. I had hoped we all had grown up a bit and were past this.
