Don’t jump head-first into AI

OPINION — Welcome fall, the season for the colors orange, brown, yellow and red. It usually comes with great weather and the start of many brand-new activities.

October has arrived, and in the northern hemisphere, that means the beauty and excitement of falling leaves, chilly weather and our beloved holiday time. No one can ever make changes to that, even if – for some reason – they want to try.

However, on the other hand, there is one thing that could use a little redirection, and that is the people. Like with a big pile of raked leaves, many have jumped in head-first to the speed and wisdom of AI. Many see it as a way to do their work faster and better, and it really is. The “A” in artificial is growing by leaps and bounds while the “I” in real intelligence keeps getting smaller.
