Usually, when you go see a production at the Fountain Hills Theater, you see a musical which are always fun and well done. However, they do other types of plays and most are good and then some are excellent!
The Glass Menagerie, by Tennessee Williams, fits into the last category. My goodness, what a tour de force. This play has only four actors, but what actors they are! This is a story of a dysfunctional family and their dreams, but their interaction with one another is usually discordant and critical of one another, especially between the mother and son.
Three of the four actors are new to this theater and I hope they all return. They do an excellent job portraying their characters and are totally believable.
