Lansberry served at The Fountains from 1999 to 2006 and led the church in a successful property search/ acquisition process and building project constructing The Fountains’ current sanctuary.
Having grown up in Arizona, Lansberry has served in the Navy, taught and performed music professionally, worked as a computer analyst, run his own businesses and served as pastor for churches in Arizona, California and Nevada.

He and his wife, Candace, also an ordained United Methodist pastor, were awarded Doctor of Ministry degrees through the Drew University Theological School in 2009.
Lansberry is also the author of “What Jesus Really Taught and Why We Don’t Believe It.”
