Dreamcoat

The theater has done it again. A new production opened at the Fountain Hills Theater this past weekend and it is wonderful! Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, has 41 cast members with many of them seasoned performers at our theater, so it is wonderful seeing them all again. Alex Gonzalez, Amy Powers, Janine Smith and Henry Male, just to name a few, are all great in this satire of the biblical fable, Joseph and his coat of many colors.

There are many laughs when all the actors take on biblical characters that have more 20th century personas. The songs and lyrics are very clever so it is a fun-filled evening. This production will be presented the next two weekends. So put on your smiles and go to the theater and laugh a lot.
