Dreamin'

What a wonderful reprieve from the July heat I got at the Fountain Hills Theater this afternoon while enjoying Midsummer Dreamin'. With a minimal set and costumes, the cast was able to make the audience laugh, clap, sing and totally become a part of the action.

One of the audience members was a thespian who had driven up from Chandler to see the play. When I asked her if she had enjoyed herself, her response was “I have seen this play way too many times, and this is the first time I ever enjoyed it!” Another lady from Rio Verde said her cheeks hurt from laughing the entire length of the play.

The play will be at the theater on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through the end of July. Do yourself a favor and go and enjoy it.
