I have observed that driving in Fountain Hills has become more challenging with the winter increase in population and road traffic density.
There is an increase in rolling stops at stop signs, no alternating, and turn signals used after turn was started. All of these requires extra vigilance when driving.
However, the most frightening incident happened while I driving down Palisades Boulevard.

A driver, with out-of-state plates, exited from CVS and turned into the lane that I was in and started driving towards me. They stopped when they saw my petrified face. I stopped, and fortunately the cars behind me stopped and there were no rear-end collisions.
The driver waited what appeared to me to a long time before corrective was action. As a result, I lost all interest in the pepperoni and mushroom pizza that I was heading for, so some good comes out of everything.
The moral of the story is that we all need to be very careful and observant when driving in Fountain Hills.
