Dust pollution advisory for Saturday

Due to predicted high winds in the state on Saturday, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a High Pollution Advisory for Saturday, Nov. 1.
This HPA includes the following restrictions:
*Contractors cannot use leaf blowers on governmental properties on HPA days.
*Open burning activity is restricted in Maricopa County. This includes individuals and businesses which have burn permits for open burning.
*Off-highway vehicles are prohibited from being used during a PM-10 HPA.
People with respiratory ailments should use caution in exerting themselves during outdoor activity during a high pollution advisory.
