Dynamic trio

Three citizens who heard the message 66 percent of voters sent loud and clear this May, “No” on the onerous tax referendum, have now stepped forward to offer their professional and personal best to Fountain Hills.

Gerry, David and Marcus are running for the three vacant seats on the town council. The first box they checked for me is that they are not politicians or incumbents and will bring fresh thoughts and common sense to the council. Here is what they pledge if elected on Aug. 28: Fiscal accountability, government responsibility, a new look at how our money is spent, a focus on public safety and economic development.

I urge everyone who voted against the referendum to cast their vote for banker Gerry Friedel, auditor Marcus Bulow von Dennewitz and police officer/detective David Spelich. Individually, each is impressive. Collectively, they will be a force for good on the council.
