Citizens who are on the Maricopa County Permanent Early Voting List (PEVL) have received their notification regarding the primary election scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 30, and General Election on Nov. 8.

This postcard notice allows voters to ask that they receive no ballot for the upcoming elections, change their mailing address or request that they be removed from the PEVL.

Anyone needing to make any of the described changes should fill out the card and return it to the Elections Department.

If no changes in the voter status are requested the resident need not respond and ballots will be sent automatically.

For the primary election on Aug. 30, ballots will be placed in the mail on Wednesday, Aug. 3. For the General Election ballots will be mailed on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Fountain Hills residents will be voting to fill expiring seats on the Town Council. There are also a number of state, county and federal offices on the ballot this year, including the Presidential Election on the November ballot.

The registration deadline for the August primary election is Monday, Aug. 1.

To register to vote or request an early ballot on line go to recorder.maricopa.gov/elections.
