There will be one easy decision to make when you vote early or when you drop your ballot off on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2014.
Who would make an ideal School Board member? It would seem like a good idea to look at a candidate’s former experiences. Being a parent and being involved in one’s children’s school activities would be a good place to start.

Vote for Edith Stock, candidate for School Board…
There will be one easy decision to make when you vote early or when you drop your ballot off on Election Day, Nov. 4, 2014.
Who would make an ideal School Board member? It would seem like a good idea to look at a candidate’s former experiences. Being a parent and being involved in one’s children’s school activities would be a good place to start.
That doesn’t rule out any of the current candidates running for the open positions on the board. So what would be the next important attribute for winning candidates? How about voting for those candidates who have spent considerable portions of their careers in the classroom and in leadership positions such as administrators?
That you will find narrows the field to two candidates, Edith Stock and Bob Gomez. They understand curriculum, budgets and how to get the best out of educators. I have known Edith professionally while serving on another Fountain Hills’ executive voluntary board. What a delight!
She served as an excellent treasurer of that organization. Of the candidates not already serving on the School Board she is the one who can hit the ground running. Deciding to run for School Board has not been an after thought for Edith Stock. She alone has taken the time and effort to attend the Fountain Hills School Board meetings over the last two years.
She is smart, hardworking, along with her being a great problem solver and you will find that Edith will be a great asset to the new School Board. I highly recommend candidate Edith Stock as a new member of the Fountain Hills School Board. Please join me in voting for Edith Stock on Nov. 4, 2014.
