Economic development outlook positive for Fountain Hills

Town Council hears update at recent meeting

The outlook for business growth in Fountain Hills looks positive, according to the town’s Economic Development Director Amanda Jacobs.

She recently provided the Town Council with an update on activity for the second quarter of the current fiscal year, October through December 2024.

Jacobs began her report by introducing a new economic development specialist on staff, Lisa Lipinski who has 20 years of experience in municipal government. Jacobs also introduced members of a new team of Economic Development Ambassadors. The concept was brought to the town and organized through a group participating in the annual Leadership Academy. Members of the ambassadors team include Kaye Baumgartner, Joanne Colella, Clayton Corey, Peter Gallagher, Nic Grieve, Nick Proctor and Margot Richardson-Corlett.
