Education

The last two issues of The Fountain Hills Times have featured a large ad touting our State Representative, Jay Lawrence, as a supporter of education. While I have met Mr. Lawrence and found him to be a nice gentleman, I have to point out that, to Arizona’s teachers, he is known as a member of the group intent upon dismantling public education in our state.

Representative Lawrence, Representative Michelle Ugenti-Rita and Senator John Kavanagh are not supporters of education, unless you are a believer in fake news. All three received a grade of “F” from the Arizona Education Association. As in any classroom across Arizona, that means they have failed our students, teachers and taxpayers. Please fail them in November when you mark your ballot.
