I know that it may not be the most popular thing to do, but with Memorial Day just past, I would like to thank an unlikely group of folks: our elected officials.
Despite our country’s general dislike of all politicians, I think that Arizona is lucky to have those like Senator McCain, who have done tremendous things for our country’s military.
In our state, we are home to the F-35 fighter, which would have not been possible if we didn’t have elected officials (Republican and Democrat) doing everything they can to bring it to our state. We also have Congressmen and women who continually fight for our state’s veteran groups and give them a voice in Washington.

I think that it’s okay to thank our elected officials now and again…as long as they don’t let it go to their heads!
