As we anticipate the Nov. 8 election, we all hope that our candidates will win and that they will honor their campaign promises. In keeping with the principles which led to the formation of the modern Tea Party, we also expect that elected officials remember that they are elected to represent “We, the People” and work to restore Constitutional order to government.
As you read this, less than one week remains to make your choice, cast your vote and maybe influence a few other voters to your way of thinking. An educated and involved electorate is one of the keys to the preservation of our republic. On Nov. 9, we’ll learn whether that principle lives on.

On Thursday, Nov. 3, continuing our mission of promoting an educated and involved electorate, Fountain Hills AZ Tea Party will welcome Congressman David Schweikert and provide an opportunity to hear firsthand about what’s happening in Congress and what to expect in the coming months.
As always, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions and get answers.
The meeting will be at Fountain Hills Unified School District Learning Center, at the corner of Golden Eagle and Palisades, starting at 6:30 p.m. All voters and interested parties are welcome to participate. Admission is free, but donations to cover expenses are gratefully accepted. Come, listen, learn, ask, bring a friend. We hope to see you there! For more info, visit fhteparty.us.
