The Fountain Hills Times online will have initial unofficial election results on this site shortly after 8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 28.

The polling station at the Fountain Hills Community Center had a couple of delays for voters as the ballot printers on the site malfunctioned. One delay was immediately upon opening at 6 a.m. After those were back up a second malfunction occurred around mid-day and the printers were replaced. Poll workers said the down time totaled an hour to an hour and one half. The system was working smoothly mid-afternoon with a steady flow of voters going into the Community Center to vote.

A second polling site in Fountain Hills is the First Baptist Church on Saguaro Blvd. serving the Palisades and Saguaro Precincts. The sites are open for voting until 7 p.m.
