I feel sorry for Bob Shelstrom. He says that he can’t get selected for any town commissions. I know he lost a race for the School Board, now he’s running to be a Sanitary District director, which even he admits is a “long shot.”
He says that if he loses he will run for the Town Council next year and that he is really looking forward to the debates so the other Council candidates will have to explain why they don’t agree with his positions.
Now I notice that he has put up campaign signs around town, but he didn’t put on the signs his self-described role as a “disrupter.”

Maybe if Mr. Shelstrom would join some community service organizations and actually do something positive for a change he could earn the respect that he doesn’t seem able to get otherwise.
I for one will be voting for Butler, Maroon and Thomson for Sanitary District directors. They are experienced, positive people with integrity who deserve re-election.
