Electric bikes, scooters remain concern for Fountain Hills

Juvenile collision latest report

E-bikes remain a traffic and safety concern for residents in Fountain Hills.

While electric bikes and scooters have been an ongoing concern in Fountain Hills, a vehicle collison between two juveniles on e-bikes Friday has stoked the flame.

The collision, which took place near Alamosa and Del Cambre avenues, left both young girls with minor injuries as Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office investigates.

Two other juveniles were struck roughly a year ago near the intersection along Saguaro and Avenue of the Fountains.
