Fountain Hills High School senior Eliana Bartman is among the few and the proud to earn the Marine Corps ROTC scholarship.
The Marine Corps awards scholarships by recruiting district, and Bartman is one of five Arizona recipients so far this year.
“This is a holistic scholarship,” Captain Branden Greb, Phoenix Recruiting Station executive officer said. “We took into consideration her leadership. We took into consideration her propensity to serve in the Marine Corps and in the military and to be selfless and take on the challenges that most individuals are unwilling to take.”
