The Fountain Hills Elks take this opportunity to thank the residents of Fountain Hills, visiting friends, Facebook friends and the Elk members for participating and supporting in the five Wednesday March events honoring our Women Veteran’s and Women History month.
The fundraising supported three organizations: Victory Place, a 96-unit HUD all-Veteran community offering on site services and specifically for our vets suffering from PTSD; U.S. Vets, serving homeless veterans and providing all-inclusive veteran services and housing; and Veteran’s First, serving the needs of homeless women veterans.

The Fountain Hills Elks take this opportunity to thank the residents of Fountain Hills, visiting friends, Facebook friends and the Elk members for participating and supporting in the five Wednesday March events honoring our Women Veteran’s and Women History month.

With great appreciation we thank the VU, Grapeables, Grand Canyon Winery and Sofrita’s for providing the best of Fountain Hills restaurants venues, happy hour accommodations and their donations for our raffles.
The raffles were one of the main sources for donation revenue for our three organizations; and we thank: Skin Apeel, Put a Handle on Your Candle, Automotive Detective, Fountain Hills Events, Faces Hair and Color Studio, Asian Bistro for catering our last event at the Lodge, Lawrence Hughes, Terri’s Sweets, Jan Gustufson (gift basket extraordinaire) and Natalie Varela, best promotional volunteer, and The Fountain Hills Times for covering Fountain Hills events.
We exceeded our goal and we have only you to thank for raising $2,696. One hundred percent of these donations were provided to the three recipients. The Elk’s is a charitable organization and we look forward to seeing you at other events promoting our scholarship drive, children’s Christmas spree and our veterans.
