My residency in Fountain Hills during the past 32 years has given me a first-hand view of our community from incorporation, county services, discussions regarding becoming a city, studies, plans, quality of life issues, local police force, anti-discriminatory discussions and more.
Mayor John Cutillo put in many unselfish hours A real Fountain Hills hero.

Mayor Jerry Miles was a statesman and an “Everyman” type of person. A true leader who put together the basis for us to become an internationally recognized city.
Jerry and Jackie Miles should be recognized as the Fountain Hills power couple, who have made the most positive impact on our community.
Other elected city officials put partisan issues aside to better our beautiful community, balancing budgets and city responsibilities. I place Dennis Brown in this category.
I recall two additional mayors that I would wholeheartedly endorse: Wally Nicolas and Jay Schlum.I had personal reasons to contact these two. Wally Nichols put our financially stricken town in order. A previous mayor was recalled over wrongdoing. Wally Nichols, A man with a heart and soul.
Jay Schlum is a man of integrity, a natural leader who provided respectful leadership.
Current Mayor = Unopposed, unfettered, unaccountable, unable to debate and unacceptable.
I support Ginny Dickey to provide the leadership needed. A management style that will accommodate responsible people’s input.
We all want fiscal responsibility. We all want to make our city great again. A reasonable tax base is necessary. How to establish the flow and how to allocate those resources is our common goal. The current mayor has had enough time. I support Ginny Dickey to make the proper decisions and guide our community into the future.
