Where is it written that a municipal corporation like The Town of Fountain Hills cannot earn its way, including earning the trust of its majority constituency, the recent “no” voters?
Start and run successful enterprises, and earn dollars, “earn money the old-fashioned way.” That should be a direction!

Dr. Rutkowski is correct; a financial projection is a prediction and, as such, has a confidence level as to its accuracy. That is, if one were given all initial considerations that went into the projection mathematics. Those considerations were questionable from the start and were indeed questioned by the no vote.
Mr. Vogel is right on the money. We need to renegotiate contracts with MCSO and Rural Metro Fire and to come up with better contracts that benefit the town’s people.
Those presently sitting on their dais, down on the corner, appear to be dazed. With four new members coming onto the council, hopefully only a temporary daze.
The no vote need not be a defeat for the town. It may be a beginning. Earn this new beginning, while earning dollars, by way of new town enterprises. Yes, plural.
What should the newly made-up council do? What are the action items?
