Federal EPA knew that Flint, Mi. water was laced with lead, yet said and did nothing.
Washington Examiner reported city officials used Flint’s water and sewage funds to pay police and firefighters, whose unions refused to accept cuts and often took city to arbitration.
Over 10 years, $60 million was pilfered from water supply fund and $10 million from sewage disposal fund from 2009-2011, money that could have been used for infrastructure upgrades and ever-increasing rates from Detroit water and sewage department. Eventually, a botched supply change contaminated Flint’s water because public sector didn’t pay attention to deteriorating situation.

EPA supposedly protects environment but are one of the worst offenders. Last year’s befouled Animas River on Colorado dumping a million gallons of mining wastewater into the river, turning it orange and creating health hazard.
Private company would be indicted, but since it’s a government project, officials got a pass.
Over 25 years ago, Newsday investigation into federal government’s pollution record found leaking landfills, leaking underground tanks, radioactive waste piles and lab disposal pits at U.S. facilities installations and public lands. Democrat Ohio Rep. Dennis Eckart admitted federal government is nation’s worst polluter.
Even the Defense and Energy Departments are heavy-duty polluter; both tend to leave messes everywhere they go.
EPA needs to stop harassing farmers who aren’t polluting, hospitals that are merely trying to treat patients and coal industry which keeps our lights on, and focus on themselves, who leaves a trail of environmental degradation behind while carrying a crusade against the private sector.
EPA spends billions supposedly changing the environment yet shows zero benefits in reducing pollutants, then uses faulty science to justify expensive regulations.
EPA is an agency used to further a political agenda and part of the big unaccountable government.
