Equality, the American way, enshrines uniform access to opportunities for those who take the initiative to achieve. The dreamers – the entrepreneurs, the achievers – that believe in the sanctity of faith, family and freedom work hard at forming the soul of America. Equal opportunity is the impetus for blending cultures and ideals into the soul of America.

The 21st century political and corporate bureaucrats manufactured “equity” as their means of supplanting equality. Declaring race as the basis of awarding entitlements is disgracing individual fulfillment that is the soul of America. “Equity” bastardizes affirmative action by lowering standards, reducing expectations and stifling achievement. “Equity” is political wordsmithing for race-based entitlements. Doling-out equity to engineer false pride is a vote-mining scheme. “Equity,” a woke word for discrimination, assigns handouts and privileges based on physical looks, not qualifications. “Equity” is the 21st century version of buying votes with welfare promises like reparations.

America’s spirit and soul was born and still believes in faith, family and freedom. The 1776 Revolution began the battle for America’s economic and religious independence. The Civil War continued the fight to establish equality for all Americans. Civil Rights leaders peacefully accelerate the progress of equality. These events built equality into the soul of America.

We the people share the constant struggle for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. All American’s equally earn, share and sustain the advantages of a free republic that chooses democracy over tyranny. Life is the natural gift endowed to biologically different parents. The liberty to earn, educate and prosper brings equal opportunity to pursue the happiness derived from the pride of ownership inherent in the American Dream.

Equality is the moral right good men share with each other. Equity are the purchased commodities one man trades with another. Equality and equity are clearly different choices.
