Eugene Curtis

Eugene T. Curtis was born July 3, 1937 in Duluth, Minn. and passed away on July 15, 2015 at Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale.

He was preceded in death by son, Gary William Curtis; parents Charles and Julia (Mandel) Curtis; and brother, Fred Curtis of Eau Claire, Wis.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Curtis of Fountain Hills; grandchildren, E. Tyler Curtis of Norfolk, Va., and Aaron Curtis of Minneapolis, Minn., Aislinn and Seamus Dwyer of Shoreview, Minn.; great-grandson, Parker; great-granddaughter, Payton of Norfolk, Va.; great-granddaughter, Estelle of Robbinsdale, Minn.; sister Dianne (Gerald) Munzen of Rosemount, Minn.; brother, Roger (Rita) Curtis of St Paul, Minn.; sister-in-law Marie Carol (Fred) Curtis of Oakdale; beloved friends, Cheryl and Timothy Dwyer of St. Paul, Minn.; sister and brothers-in-law, Jan and Dick Wing, Joan Kuhns Husmann of Anamosa, Iowa and Jennifer and Robert Schmidt of Wisconsin; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Curtis was employed for many years by the State of Minnesota Department of Corrections and the Arizona Department of Corrections as director of medical services. He later was employed by United Parcel Service and retired from there in 1994. No services are planned.
