Extended Hands in Fountain Hills plans for ribbon cutting

Settling into new location

Extended Hands Food Bank recently moved to its new location in downtown Fountain Hills, where a more centralized location is helping better serve members of the community.

The new location can be found at 16939 E. Colony Dr. Suite #1, and the team will hold a ribbon cutting event to commemorate the opening of the new location from 5 to 6 p.m. on Feb. 26. As for what the public can expect at the event, Executive Director Allyson Iverson shared a few hints.

“Raffle items, food, great company,” she said. “This will be a celebration of 23 years of service, a grand opening of our new building, and Founder David Iverson passing the torch on to me, his granddaughter.”
