Extension for Strategic Planning applicants
Posted
The Town of Fountain Hills has extended the deadline to receive applications from residents interested in serving on the Strategic Planning Advisory Commission (SPAC).
Applications will now be accepted until Thursday, June 13.
Applicants are needed for five commissioners and a youth commissioner to serve on the commission. Each position has a two-year term.
The SPAC was established to foster implementation of the Strategic Plan and to update and maintain it regularly to ensure it serves as the town’s foundation for decision-making.
Qualified applicants should have an understanding of strategic planning and a desire to foster relationships and partnerships with residents and stakeholders to implement the town’s Strategic Plan.
Regular meetings occur monthly, with dates usually determined three months in advance. Special sessions are also scheduled on occasion.
Application requirements and forms can be found on the town’s website at http://www.fh.az.gov/spac or picked up at Town Hall during regular business hours. Applications will be accepted until 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, with interviews to be scheduled later in June. For further information contact Shaunna Williams, staff liaison, at 480-816-5107.
