With the seemingly daily big news coming out with the Trump administration, I was overjoyed that the new President was able to finish the job that Senator McCain has worked tirelessly for over the past several years: Lowering the cost of the F-35 program.
I hope Senator McCain gets the credit he deserves for this, because he has been the watchdog of this next generation fighter and has always been working to protect the taxpayer. The F-35 is needed, and now because of Mr. Trump and Senator McCain, its price is worth the defense it provides.
