In today’s society, we are being conditioned to accept the behaviors of dishonesty, corruption, and selfishness. It would appear that that conditioning is now spilling over into our legal system. The definition of justice is changing folks.
It is happening in the form of a sitting federal judge who believes that he creates the law. By continuing to oversee the proceedings in the civil case that has been brought against Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Judge Murray Snow is telling the entire Valley that justice is what he says it is.
Judge Murray Snow should make the honorable choice and recuse himself from this case. Whether or not Judge Snow’s wife actually made the statements regarding Sheriff Arpaio is irrelevant. Anger is a human emotion, and Judge Snow being human, is not in a position to make an unbiased decision regarding the facts and evidence that have been presented to him.

The whole basis of this case is whether or not Sheriff Arpaio acted in a way that violated the civil rights of Hispanics by holding them accountable for violations they were making of our laws. Is Judge Snow not also acting in a way that violates Sheriff Arpaio’s civil rights? Sheriff Arpaio is entitled to a fair hearing, just as you would be.
Would you be able to trust Judge Snow to do his job and execute it honestly and fairly? If Judge Snow cannot execute the most important duties of his office, what right does he have to judge Sheriff Arpaio on the execution of his duties or any other member of the Sheriff’s Office?
If the allegations against Sheriff Arpaio are found to be correct, it would appear that Judge Snow is attempting to call the pot black, and he would be the kettle.
