Friday was a big night for local sports as all three competing teams claimed big wins on the night.
While the girls basketball team hosted Payson out of the high school gym, the boys basketball team hit the road to take on the Longhorns in front of their own hometown crowd. The location of the game didn’t seem to matter, however, as both squads pulled off big victories. The girls found a solid win at 49-30 with the boys handily besting Payson 63-46.
Right after the girls’ home basketball game, the girls soccer squad welcomed Cactus High School to the local pitch. The Lady Falcons made short work of their visitors, going on to claim an 8-0 win.
