Fountain Hills Unified School District will have fall break from Monday, Oct. 9, to Friday, Oct. 13, and there will be no school on Monday, Oct. 16, for a teacher workday.

The local Boys & Girls Club will host a fall break camp open to grades K-12, and Little Falcons Preschool will have a fall break camp, too.

The Boys & Girls Club will be doing its annual Olympics during the fall break camp and will also focus on art and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The camp will run each day of fall break, including Monday, Oct. 16.

Camp hours are from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Register atbgcs.org/myclubhub. Rates are $93/week for students who attend Boys & Girls Club throughout the whole year, and $196 for fall break camp only. Teens in seventh to 12th grade who have paid their annual $25 membership fee can attend for free.

The Club Falcon pre-k fall break camp will take place from Monday, Oct. 9, to Friday, Oct. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Christina Sims and Gretchen Kies will lead the camp at the preschool and have fun activities planned for the week.

Parents are responsible for providing lunch, a water bottle, and transporting their children to and from camp. The fee is $148.75 for the whole week.
