The Sheriff’s SWAT team responded to a Fountain Hills residence on Caliente Drive Sunday night, Sept. 21.
According to Sheriff’s Capt. Dave Letourneau, an argument between two brothers, ages 24 and 25, escalated to where one of the brothers received minor stab wounds.
The argument apparently began over which of the brothers would get the last soda and escalated, Letourneau said. When the father attempted to break up the fight he became involved in the assault also.

One of the sons had a knife, which caused injuries to the other.
MCSO received a call to respond to a family fight and when deputies arrived, those involved in the incident locked the house and did not respond.
Letourneau said the SWAT team was called to make entry.
The father and one son were arrested on aggravated assault charges. The other son was taken to the hospital where he was treated for the stab wounds and released.
