Members, residents and guests enjoyed the Fountain Hills Women’s Club luncheon and fashion show presented by Kay Kinder’s Fountain Fashions at the Radisson on March 22.

The Women’s Club wishes to thank all who attended the fundraiser, whose proceeds support the club’s scholarship programs for high school students, women wanting to further their education and ongoing support for non-profit organizations in Fountain Hills.

The successful event included 40 silent auction items and 24 beautifully made gift baskets, which were made possible by the generous donations and gifts of many of the Fountain Hills businesses and individuals. Items included arts and crafts, barber shops, bed and mattress set, food, clothing, cosmetics, golf packages, hair and nail salons, health dental and wellness, jewelry, pet items, recreational and vacation packages, restaurants and services for auto, bike, computer and cleaning.

An innovation this year was the addition of a program that included ads from many local businesses and was printed courtesy of the Fountain Hills Theater.

Those of us who live in Fountain Hills are very grateful for our generous businesses. Please remember to support these retailers.

This was truly a “team effort” of all the members headed by: Kay Keller (silent auction), Phyllis Crump (gift and ads), Carolyn LaForest and Donna Flanery (tickets and reservations), Dottie Tidd (decorations), Susan Luzinski (baskets and program) and Barb Moran (publicity).

A special thank you to all who participated!
