The Women’s Club thanks all who attended our fundraiser consisting of a wonderful luncheon and style show at the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort.

Congratulations to the hard-working committee: Carol La Forest, Karen Carneal, Dottie Tidd, Ida Kuechler, Myrna Wetzel, Margie Slater, Pat deGuzman, Sheila Shay, Susan Duganz, Susan Luzinski and Kay Keller.

Other helpers included Debra Cone, Pat Canning and Dee Bravos.

We were fortunate to display 25 decorated baskets filled with goodies and a silent auction that featured 25 outstanding items. All of this was only possible through the generosity of local businesses and friends. Praises to contributors Desert Canyon, SunRidge Canyon, Eagle Mountain, Rio Verde Golf Club, The Ridge Room, Sami’s Fine Jewelry, Fountain Hills Theater, River of Time Museum and Sunset Gallery.

Gratitude to All American Sports Grill, Saddle Bronc, Phil’s, Appian Way, Sapori D’Italia, Ping’s, Subway, Que Bueno, Flapjacks, Alchemy, Chocofin, Pizzelle Pastries, Grapeables and Starbucks.

More gifts included Park Ave Hair Co., Skin Oasis Institute, Tamaccio Salon and Spa, Body Works, R&R Nails, Vu Salon and Spa, Go Diva’s Salon, Merle Norman, Curves, Cheryl’s, To Your Health and The Little Thrift Shop.

Gifts continued with the generosity of Huds Custom Design Floor, Colors 2, Suburban Sole, Nonny’s Florals and Gifts, Nature’s Finest, Walgreen’s on Palisades, Master Tech, Gridleys, Talk to the Paw and Spike’s Treats.

All of us should be grateful for our kind businesses. Please remember to support these retailers.

A special thanks to the Women’s Club for its time, talent and friendship. We may be a small club in numbers, but we are passionate about service to our community.

Kudos to Kay Kinder of Fountain Fashions for presenting a beautiful fashion show, selling tickets in her store and giving six gift certificates for the raffle.
