I never thought I would see the day that I would send a thank you email to Nancy Pelosi, but it happened today.

Over the last several weeks I couldn’t believe my eyes as I watched many of the Republican leaders align themselves with the President who has systematically destroyed the U.S. economy and its world respect in just six years.

Our elected officials refuse to tell us, the electorate, the content of the “Fast Track Bill” they have obsessed on for weeks. If this thing is so darn good why does it have to be viewed in a secret room with no public or press access?

These men, many of whom got into office with the help of voters like me, are supposed to insure that the government functions in full view of the public and does not empower any President beyond his Constitutional authorities.

Worst of all, our own David Schweikert was one of those beating the drum for this “secret” trade bill. Shame on him. David, you deserve this lesson and you better work hard to realign yourself with conservative values or you’ll be out of a job before you can say “Pelosi!”
