Fearless Kitty Rescue recently held an open house for its new medical center in Fountain Hills.
Located at 11881 N. Saguaro Blvd., the medical center provides more space than the main rescue on 16832 E. Avenue of the Fountains, which makes it easier to isolate sick cats and provide them with important medical care before they are ready for adoption.
“If there’s any types of issues like ringworm, we have an isolation area that can totally keep the cats isolated from the population that we’re adopting out, so we’re not transferring any germs or stuff like that,” Fearless Kitty president and CEO Steve Hedden said. “We also have areas so that any cats that are sick, we can treat them. They’re here, under care, all day long with people. We’re able to keep our general population safer and have better outcomes.”
