Feelings, AI and their relationship to growth

OPINION — Hello, spring! You came a little earlier than usual this year and, wow, you hit hard with warmer temperatures than anyone would have expected. However, luckily, along with the increased heat came the natural beauty of vibrant desert flowers that could not help but make anyone feel good.

“Feel?” Did I say “feel?” Yes, I really did say that. Feelings are wonderful. They come in all sizes, shapes and intensities, and they range in mood all the way from sad, mad and angry to happy, proud and thankful. Sometimes “happy” can arrive from seeing something like a  smiling baby. Other times it can pop up just from enjoying a cold drink of water.

Facts are facts, and figures are figures, but “feelings” are deeper and more complicated than any of those. Happy and sad, being mad, and angry and scared are all good. They are all “feelings” that spur us on, protect our actions and guide us well.
