Gates for construction surrounding the Sprouts Farmers Market have been put up on grounds located in the Four Peaks Shopping Plaza at Shea and Saguaro boulevards.
Sprouts paid roughly $110,000 for the building permit, though the permit has not yet been issued, town public information office Mike Pelton said. Wheel loaders and construction vehicles are continuing prep work allowable under the demolition permit, Peloton added.
There are a few remaining requirements from other agencies before final approval, though Pelton said he anticipates the waiting period to be shorterm before construction can officially begin.
