In response to Phyliss Kern’s letter. An LED sign next to the Rotary clock? What next? How about we just make the entire town a carnival? Why not close Saguaro permanently. That way we would not have to fix it.
Let’s promote all kinds of tacky events to Fountain Hills and forget about all of the people who bought a home here for peace and quiet. Let’s all donate to a Fountain Hills Disneyland, and sell lots of junk food so our children can be obese.
That is not what Fountain Hills is supposed to be about. I personally resent the low class events, tents, junk, noise and closure of streets and the Fountain.

The Fountain is supposed to be open to its taxpayers, not closed so tawdry displays can be shown to visitors who could care less about our beautiful town.
