Fountain Hills residents are invited to drop off their gently used child car seats at the Fountain Hills Fire Station #1 this Saturday, March 1, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Fire department car seat technicians will be available during this time also to check on the installation of car seats as well as install for anyone who needs help.
There is usually a car seat technician on duty every day at the station and can perform this work.

Fountain Hills residents are invited to drop off their gently used child car seats at the Fountain Hills Fire Station #1 this Saturday, March 1, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Fire department car seat technicians will be available during this time also to check on the installation of car seats as well as install for anyone who needs help.
There is usually a car seat technician on duty every day at the station and can perform this work.
The donated car seats will be inspected by Arizona DHS and those that are acceptable will be sent to Sonora, Mexico as part of an agreement between the state governments.
It is estimated that fewer than 2 percent of children living in Sonoran are properly secured in their vehicle.
