This will be the final week to catch “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at the Fountain Hills Theater.

The musical is based on the classic Peanuts characters and wraps up Sunday on stage.

The cast features Kathleen Berger, Chad Campbell, Gary Caswell, Ed Como, Jessica Godber and Peter J. Hill.

Native Arizonan Berger first appeared at Fountain Hills Theater in 2008, as the witch in “Into the Woods.”

She has performed on stages throughout Europe and the United States. Born into a family of six children, of which three are full-time professional musicians, Berger studied voice, piano and dance since she was a child.

After graduating from university, she moved to New York City where she performed regionally for more than 10 years.

After being cast as Violetta in La Traviata with the touring company Opera 2001, she traveled to Spain, which led to the next phase of her musical career.

She spent the next several years singing opera, recitals and zarzuela in cities all over Spain. In 2011, she married Spanish chef Manuel Alba Garrido, and in 2013 they moved to her childhood home in Litchfield Park.

Since then, Berger has been busy performing around the Valley, as Rose Lennox in “The Secret Garden” at Arizona Broadway Theater, debuting as the soprano soloist in Brahm’s “Ein Deutches Requiem” with the Yavapai College Master Chorale and also in Mozart’s “Requiem” with the Glendale College Chorus and Orchestra.

Berger continues to perform in Spain, Portugal and Colombia.

She is the only American artist to ever perform with the Festival Musicos en la Naturaleza and with the Compania Lirica Dolores Marco in Spain.

She is appearing in both summer productions for FHT.

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” will play through Sunday, July 6.

Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Individual tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 17 and under. Group rates and student rush discounts are available; rated PG.
