After reading the letter from Bernie Hoenle in the Aug. 12 Times, I, too, would like to offer acco-lades to the Fountain Hills EMTs and Fire De-partment professionals.
Without going into de-tail, on July 30 I found myself in a situation where I needed medical attention and transport-ing to a hospital. Our youngest granddaughter was here with us for a few days and instead of mak-ing her go with us to the ER, I suggested we call the EMTs.
These young people were kind, considerate, sympathetic and under-standing of someone in as much pain as I. They worked quickly and gen-tly. At the hospital they wished me well before leaving and, of course, left me in very capable hands.

This was the first time we have had to utilize the town’s emergency services in our 21 years, and if the need should ever arise again, we will not hesitate to make that call.
