Flash flood warning until 10:15 a.m.

Fountain Hills is under a flash flood warning until 10:15 a.m. Monday morning, July 24. The National Weather Service has issued the warning for the north and east portions of Maricopa County as rain continues to fall.

Street flooding has occurred in locations were washes cross the roadways and in the curb lane along Saguaro Boulevard. Drive with caution.

Flood Control District rain gauges recorded more than an inch of rain (1.18) overnight at monitoring sites at Fire Station #1 at Palisades and Avenue of the Fountains, and at Stoneridge Dam, just west of Fountain Hills Boulevard at Cholla Drive. Other county rain gauges received between three quarter and one inch.
