Flash flood watch issued for FH and area

The potential for rain Wednesday afternoon and evening has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flash Flood Watch for the area that includes Fountain Hills until 11 p.m.

Motorists are warned not to enter flooded washes and remember to “Turn around…don’t drown.”

A tropical depression over the Gulf of California is pushing the moisture into Arizona to feed rain showers and possible thunderstorms through mid-day Thursday.
