Food for Kidz 2016 needs your help..

In the past five years, the Fountain Hills Community Food for Kidz food pack has packed over 227,000 meals to share with the hungry people in Arizona and worldwide.

This event is sponsored by New Journey Lutheran Church, assisted by Church of the Ascension Catholic Church.

The food pack has evolved into such a large community event that we need people, organizations and businesses to help mold its future. We specifically need donors that will provide support of financial resources and time. Our goal for the March 10, 2016 food pack is to raise $20,000.

Hunger has no boundaries. We have shared the rice, soy and vegetable meals and the instant cinnamon oatmeal packs with homeless veterans groups, Native Americans, the local Extended Hands Food Bank and the school children’s backpack program that serves the Fountain Hills area.

In addition, a portion of the food goes to international relief organizations.

Can you, your business, organization, or the church you belong to join us in fighting hunger by donating money and time to help? Contact Food for Kidz at fhfoodpack@njlc-fh.org or call me, Don Corey, at (317) 783-0293.
