The Fountain Hills Community Food Pack, “Food for Kidz,” needs your help.
The sixth annual Food Pack on March 10 at the Community Center is seeking donations to pay for the bulk ingredients. The dehydrated, easily prepared meals are packed by volunteers from local schools, Scouts and youth organizations, joined by many adults from the Fountain Hills community.
Seventy-five percent of the packed product stays in Arizona. The balance goes to disaster relief organizations.

Last year, 80,000 meals were packed in one evening. This year’s goal is to meet or exceed that amount. At just over fifteen cents a meal, hosts New Journey Lutheran Church and the Church of the Ascension need $15,000.
Donations can be mailed to New Journey Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 19652, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269. Please make donations payable to New Journey Lutheran Church and mark “Food for Kidz” on check.
