Foolish to let Fountain Hills’ museum die

OPINION — Wake up, Fountain Hills. We are about to lose our museum.

Who needs the museum, anyway? All the people who live in this town, the people who come here to enjoy art fairs and other events at the Community Center and on the Avenue of the Fountains, the school children who want to know about the origin of their town and surrounding area, the Yavapai people whose treasures are housed in the museum, the house hunters looking for a new home in our special community, and the crowds who flock to the museum for the Holiday Mart in November and December.
