Football wins 14-12

The Falcon football squad pulled off a big 14-12 win against the Wickenburg Wranglers Friday evening, upsetting their opponents during their homecoming game. The Falcons fell behind 12-0 in the first half before adding eight points to the board before the end of the second quarter. The Falcons managed to score once again in the third, going up 14-12 before stuffing a late-game field goal from the Wranglers to secure their victory. The local boys will host the Payson Longhorns this Friday night at 7 p.m. for the 2013 Homecoming game.

Volleyball home Tuesday

The volleyball season continues Tuesday night as the Lady Falcons prepare to host the Payson Longhorns at 6 p.m. The Falcons hope to recover from a late-week loss to Tempe Prep (3-2 after five games of play) and, with the help of a Homecoming crowd, add another win to the books.
